The Barnum Festival has united communities for more than six decades by raising the morale of Greater Bridgeport citizens with parades, concerts, parties, and fireworks. As a way to build community spirit and honor Bridgeport's most famous resident, Phineas Taylor Barnum, the Barnum Festival introduces culture, diversity, and entertainment to the community. From one of the largest parades in Connecticut, the Great Street Parade, to the Ringmaster's Ball, the Barnum Festival looks to incorporate something for all ages.
