Barnum Festival Names New Officers for 2005

 
 

The Barnum Festival named a slate of five officers to serve for the 2005 Festival:

Frank T. Gennarini ? President

Richard ?Flip? Bodine ? Senior Vice President

Elaine K. Ficarra ? Vice President

Ellen Broedlin ? Secretary                                                                  

John Culhane ? Treasurer

Robert Tranzillo ? Assistant Treasurer

Gennarini, a Milford resident, served as senior vice president of the board in 2003 and was the Grand Marshal of the Great Street Parade in 2000 and has served as chairman of the Antique and Classic Car Show. He is a senior vice president at D?Addario Industries in Bridgeport.

Bodine, of Easton, was the 2001 Ringmaster and serves on the Festival?s board of directors. He also was the chair of the Festival?s Polo Match and Classic Car event. Bodine is CEO and chairman of the Bodine Corporation in Bridgeport.

Ficarra, of Milford, is the chairperson of the Barnum Festival King & Queen Competition and also serves on the Festival?s marketing committee. She is Employee Communications Manager at People?s Bank.

Broedlin, of Stratford, was re-elected Festival secretary and has served as a volunteer for the Festival for several years. She is the office manager for ArtsPort in Bridgeport.

Culhane, of Monroe, was also re-elected Festival treasurer and is the principal of his own accounting firm.

Tranzillo, of Monroe, was the Grand Marshal of the 2003 Great Street Parade. He is the controller for the Town of Trumbull.
