The Barnum Festival is a 69-year tradition in the greater Bridgeport area known for the quality low and no-cost family friendly events it produces each year such as the Wing Ding Parade for Kids, the Skyblast Fireworks, the Great Street Parade and the Tom Thumb and Lavinia Warren and King & Queen Competitions. All of these events and more make up one of the region's most enduring civic celebrations, and the basis for many a family gathering.
